Harry Nelson Pitts, 65, passed away, Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was born September 26, 1947 in Nash County to the late Needham B., Jr. and Hazel Hyde Pitts.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Pitts.

He is survived by his  wife of almost 45 years, Tanya Pitts, sister, Connie P. Boyette and husband Wayne, brother-in-law, Bill and Carol Winstead, and two nieces. A graveside service was held  Saturday, August 24, 2013  at Peachtree Baptist Church Cemetery with the Pastor Woody Jones officiating.
