HOLLISTER – James O. “J.B.” Rosser, 66, died Monday, July 23, 2007. Funeral services were held July 28 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Rosser of the home; two daughters, Babie Massenburg and Denise Davis, both of Hollister; three sons, Willie James Rosser of Roanoke Rapids, Edward Glenn Rosser of Hollister, and Dan Rosser of Warrenton; his mother, Calico Silver of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters, Sally Mae Brinson of Rocky Mount and Eveline Whitakers of Richmond, Va.; five brothers, Edward Silver, Melvin Silver and Asbury Silver, all of Richmond, Va., Mark Richardson of Hollister and John Silver of Roanoke Rapids; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Richardson Funeral Home, Nashville.
