J.D. “Jack” Williams, 75, died Monday, July 16, 2007. Funeral services were held July 19 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 1, 1932 to the late Kerney and Maggie May Moss Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Perry Williams; daughter, Audrey Sweeney and husband Pee Wee of Warren County; son, Jackson “Rooster” Williams of Nashville; half-brother Billy Jones of Spring Hope; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
