Susan E Smith, 70, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013.

Susan was born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 25, 1942.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Curtis J. Smith.

She is survived by her son, Curtis Joyner Smith, Jr. and his wife Bonnie Jo Smith, her daughter, Brenda P. Smith, MD and her partner, Tammy J. Kohse, four grandchildren; brother, Woodrow W. Ball of Nitro, W. VA; two sisters, Nancy Childers of Charlotte, and Mary Hutchinson of Brockport, NY.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 05, 2013 at Antioch Church. Interment  followed at Antioch Church Cemetery in Enfield.

Flowers will be welcome or donations may be made in her honor to Red Oak United Methodist Church, Youth Ministry, at PO Box 66, Red Oak, NC 27868.
