William Arthur Haney, Jr., age 73, passed away August 1, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, and children; John Haney and wife Marilyn of Raleigh;  Gwen Haney Wright and husband, David of Franklin TN; and Spencer Haney and wife Janet of Cumming GA; six grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Caffin and husband Bob of Emerald Isle, and Mina Curry and husband Phil of East Bend NC.

A funeral service was held  Saturday, August 3, 2013, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Grisham officiating.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Hospice of Nash General.
