Barbara Glover Tyson, born April 3, 1933,  passed away on July 25, 2013. She was preceeded in death by her husband Thurman E. Tyson, Sr., son Thruman E Tyson, Jr., great grandson Ayden Jones, parents Gladys and  Ellie Glover, sisters Mae Kuhn and Zelma Hammock.

She is survived by sons Danny and his wife, Jane, Jerry and his wife, Jolynn, Joseph and his wife, Lorna, daughter-in-law Rita, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister Patricia Haynes and her husband, WC, brothers Bill Glover and his wife, Christine, Stan Glover and his wife, Kathy.

Flowers will be welcomed or memorials can be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, Spring Hope or The Church of God of Prophecy, Wilkins St., Rocky Mount.

Services were held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the  Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, Rocky Mount.
