Jimmie “Jaybird” Wilson, 70, of Nashville, died July 2, 2013 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

The funeral will be held Saturday, July 20, 2103 at 12 noon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church 904 S. Alston Street Nashville, with Dr. Tyrone P. Jones III officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Nashville.

Public viewing will be held Friday, from 2-7pm at the funeral home and on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12 noon at the church. Family and friends will assemble on Saturday at the residence at 11 a.m. for the processional to the church.
