SPRING HOPE – Dalma Therman Edwards, 79, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Avanta Nursing Home in Wilson.

A funeral service, conducted by the Rev. Allen C. Allen, was held June 2 at First Baptist Church in Spring Hope.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rose J. Edwards of the home; two daughters, Cathy E. Puckett and Melody S. Edwards, both of Spring Hope; one son, Anthony Edwards, and Tammy, of Spring Hope; two sisters, Bonnie Baker of Sandy Cross and Addilene Leonard of Louisburg; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dalma and Bessie Edwards, four sisters and two brothers.
