Norma Lisa Benson, 49 passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013.  She was born in Nash County, July 21, 1963.  She is predeceased by one grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Benson; father, Norman Brown; mother, Elizabeth Partain; stepfather, Louis Partain; mother-in-law, Dorothy Arnn Benson; daughter, Bethany Reason Lancaster and her husband, Jamie; son, Joshua Reason and his wife, Mandy; daughter, Morgan Reason; daughter, Megan Reason Braswell and her husband, Tyler; son, Justin Reason; daughter, Ashley Reason; 8 grandchildren; step son, Raine Benson; step daughters, Kristina Benson, Kayla Benson, Karla Benson Matthews and her husband, Austin; sisters, Kim Brown Williams and her husband, Ernie, Teresa Partain (deceased), Anne Partain Durham and her husband, Gary; brother, Christopher Partain and his wife, Tina; sister in law, Martha Kramer and her husband, David.

A funeral service was held June 30, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. A private family burial was held Monday, July 1,  at Thompson’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
