Bobby Lee Joyner passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013. He was the son of the late Paul and Ruby Joyner and was born December 5, 1937.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Boone Joyner and two daughters, Karen (Ricky) Joyner and Melanie (John) Ashley; three grandchildren; siblins, Carol  Taylor, Billy (Patricia) Joyner, J.P. (Janet) Joyner, Larry (Ida) Joyner, Rachel (L.C.) Griffin, and Ronnie (Janice) Joyner; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service  was held Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Kenneth L. Boone Cemetery on Tink’s Lane. Flowers will be accepted or contributions in memory of Bobby may be made to Sandy Cross United Methodist Church (3725 Sandy Cross Road, Nashville, NC  27856).
