LILLBURN, GA. - Thomas Earl Evans, 76, of  Lillburn, Ga. died Saturday, May 4, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nead and Evelyn Evans and one brother, Bill Evans. He was born Feb. 19, 1937 in Nash County.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Mullins Evans of Lillburn, Ga., daughter,  Jeannine (Paul) Rockwell; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Steve (Linda) Evans and Keith (Ann) Evans, all of Nashville; sister-in-law, Clara Evans of Raleigh; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews from Raleigh and Nashville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Rockbridge Baptist Church, 1012 Rockbridge Rd., Norcross Ga., 30093.

The family received friends Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory. Funeral services were Sunday, May 5 at Bill Head with Rev. Bill Cordrey and Rev. Greg Cruce officiating. Internment was at Eternal Hill Memory Gardens in Snellville, Ga.
