CASTALIA –– Elmo Jackson Godwin, 43, passed away, Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was born March 25, 1970 in Nash County to the late Ollie and Annie Mae Winstead Godwin.

Survivors include three brothers; Dennis “Bud” Godwin, Steven “Rusty” Godwin and wife Stephanie, Keith “Knot” Godwin and wife Vickie, two sisters; Diane Stokes and husband Ben, Faye Tant and husband Ricky, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral service was Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home.
