ROCKY MOUNT - Orbin Faircloth, age 80, passed away on April 24, 2013. He was born in Nash County on April 27, 1932. He was predeceased by his parents Sola Parrish Faircloth and William Jeff Faircloth, his wife of 50 years Josephine Faircloth, step-daughter, Donna Weeks, step-son, Jamie Barrow, sister, Mable Faircloth Edwards, brother, Jeff Faircloth, and son-in-law, Kenneth Wayne Patterson all of Rocky Mount.

 He is survived by his wife Emily Barrow Faircloth of 12 years, three daughters; Sophia Faircloth Bridges and husband Charles, Becky Faircloth Israel and husband Jimmy and Vickie Faircloth Lawson and husband Jimmy, step-son, Danny Barrow and wife Pam, step-son-in-law, Tim Weeks, brother-in-law, Lester Williams, sister-in-law, Lorena Alford all of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Faircloth Hicks of Colonial Heights, Va and 13 grandchildren, 18great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Orbin’s life and birthday was held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with the Rev. Tony Bossolono officiating. Entombment followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
