NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Floyd Elie Silver, 66, died on Monday, April 22, 2013.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 12 p.m. from the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Nashville with the Rev. Paul Davis. Burial will follow in the Tilman-Lynch Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Philadelphia Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on April 27, 2013.

Survivors include: two sons, Bryan Silver and Gerard Silver, both of Newport News; three sisters, Etheleane Cotton, of Rocky Mount, Clayteese Coppedge and her husband, Edward, of Louisburg, and Ernestine Hines and her husband, Charlie, of Rocky Mount; four brothers, Larry Silver and wife, Mollie, of Nashville, Vernon Silver and wife, Barbara, of Newport News, John Silver and wife, Shirley, of Hampton, VA and Danny Silver, of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
