ROCKY MOUNT –– Jerry Wayne Cantrell, 74, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013.  He was born in Spartanburg County, SC  November 2, 1938 to the late Lawrence and Velva Parris Cantrell.

 He is survived by his wife,  Jennette Baker Bone Cantrell; daughter, Karen Cantrell Smith and husband Joe; sons, Terry Bone, Danny Bone and wife Tina; Jeff Bone and Monica; brother, Vernon Cantrell and wife Jeanie; sisters, Camelia Henderson and husband Gene; Melvinia “Mel” Anderson and husband Jim; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Harrington Cantrell; daughter, Terry Cantrell Heckman and a son, Steven Jerry Cantrell.

 A funeral service was held Monday, April 22, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Norville officiating.  Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.   Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
