Richard Allen Willis, age 49, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Born in Nash County on August 21, 1963, he was the son of the late Jack T. Willis and Shelby Jean Harris Willis. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Lynn Willis.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Willis; older brother, Johnny Willis; and one nephew.

A memorial service was held Monday, April 1, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Owens officiating.
