Naomi Fisher Philips, 81, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was born in Nash County on June 19, 1931, daughter of the late Luther and Sally Stewart Fisher.

She is preceded in death by Frank P. Philips Jr., her husband of 59 years.

She is survived by sons, Parker Philips and wife Carolyn S., Stewart Philips and wife Carolyn V., Burt Philips of the home, Frederick “Rick” Philips and wife Kelly B.; 5 grandchildren; one sister, Pearl F. Newland of Elkton, Florida; sister-in-law and husband Nell Philips Bryan and Dr. William Blair Bryan of Charlotte; six nieces and eight nephews. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Edele Fulcher, Clarice Johnson, Annie Lou Melvin, and Emily Nuckols.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 01, 2013 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Battleboro with Rev. Noah Howard officiating.
