Geraldine Langley Bunn, 79, died June 28, 2007 at UNC Memorial Hospital with her children by her side. She was born October 16, 1927 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late Percy and Lissie Davis Langley. She was preceded in death by her husband John Dean Bunn, Jr. of fifty-eight years; brother, Linwood Langley and daughter-in-law Sonya Bunn.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four sons, Dean Ross Bunn and fiancée Tina of Nashville, John Terrell Bunn of Rocky Mount, Gerald Charisse Bunn and wife Valerie of Rocky Mount, Arnold Shaun Bunn and wife Debbie of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Mildred Wheeless and Sylvia Fuller; and ten grandchildren.

The family received family and friends Saturday, June 30, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Johnson Funerals and Cremations. Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m. Sunday July 1, 2007 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations with Rev. Jason Gault and Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Pridgen officiating.
