Minnie Pearl Williams, age 84, passed away  Sunday, March 24, 2013. She was born in Greene County on November 05, 1928 to the late Daniel Gusta Walston and Nannie Walston Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Mitchell Williams Sr. who died March 18, 2005; brothers, Dalton, Runie, Edward, Carl, T.D., and Guy Walston; and sisters, Louise Ranes, Martha Jones and Marie Johnson.

Minnie is survived by her son, Clarence Mitchell Williams Jr. (wife); 3 grandchildren4 ; great-grandchildren; sisters, Sybil Bunn and Dora Haggard (Frank) of Rocky Mount; sisters-in-law, Jewel Williams and Gisela Walston; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 11 am to 1 pm Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A service to remember Minnie will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm with Reverend Dr. Frank Haggard and Rev. Tom Greener officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
