RED OAK - Funeral services for Annette L. Battle, 77, who died on Friday, March 8, 2013, were Friday, March 15, at noon at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert Scott officiating.

Surviving: daughers, Angela Battle and Vicki Battle, both of Zebulon, Patricia Battle of Raleigh; a son, John Battle of Raleigh; sisters, Ann Alston of Red Oak, Anita Sessoms of Rocky Mount; brothers, Orlando Alston and Dementra Alston, both of Red Oak, Napolean Alston of Rocky Mount, Donald Ray Sessoms of Battleboro; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Open visitation was Thursday March 14, from 4-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. John MB Church.
