Navy “Sonny” Hillard Rackley, Jr. was born October 26, 1941 and passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2013.  Sonny is preceded in death by his parents Navy Hillard Sr. and Eva Pridgen Rackley, wife, Faye Horton Rackley, and by nine brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Strickland-Rackley; two sons, Tim Rackley and Harvey Adams and wife Renee; one daughter, Kim Leonard; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Sunday March 10, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations in Nashville.

Committal Service followed at Enterprise Baptist Church in Littleton, NC.
