Leslie Polk Burroughs Sr, age 64, passed away on February 20, 2013, He was born in Greenville on December 28th, 1948 to Polk and Margie Burroughs.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Faye Burroughs, his children Leslie Burroughs Jr and Joey Carol Wall; 4 grandchildren;  sisters Cheryl Kennedy and Brenda Guyant, and his brothers Kenneth and Garry.

A funeral service was held February 23, 2013  at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials made to Cub Scout Troop #752 at St. Paul Methodist Church, 1217 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount NC 27803.
