John W. Gyalog, III, 37, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013.  He was born July 30, 1975 in Bell County, Texas. John was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his father, John W. Gyalog, Jr.; his mother, Brenda Catlett; his biological mother, Virginia Marie Gyalog; grandmother, Mildred Catlett; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins.

A funeral service was held Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  Burial  followed at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Church, 420 Paul Street, Rocky Mount, NC  27803.
