Garland B. Skinner, Jr. 66, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013.  He was born December 18, 1946 in Nash County. 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Pridgen Skinner of the home; mother, Artis J. Skinner;  son, Chris Skinner and wife Emily; daughter, Michelle Saal and husband Steve; 6 grandchildren; brother, Mitchell Skinner and wife Rachel.

A funeral service was held Friday, February 15, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Parker and Rev. Steve Webb officiating.  A committal service was held Saturday, February 16 at Mill Branch Cemetery.
