Rev. Dalton C. Coppedge, Sr. 88, passed away Saturday February 16, 2013. He was born June 1, 1924 in Nash County to the late William Joseph Coppedge and Annie Lou Braswell.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Clara Harrell Coppedge; sons, Rev. Dalton C. Coppedge, Jr. and wife Jennette, Jeff Coppedge and wife Tammy; daughter, Jenean C. Aycock and husband Mike; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittany Coppedge; brothers, Rev. Harvey Coppedge, Willard Coppedge; sisters, Pearl Bowden, Onea Aycock, Martha Wester and Annie Jo Coppedge.

A graveside service was held at Pineview Cemetery Monday, February 18, 2013 with Rev. Dalton Coppedge, Jr. officiating.
