BATTLEBORO –– Ocie Lee Carter, Jr., 52, of Battleboro, died on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro.

Funeral services were held  at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home.  The interment took place after the service in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Battleboro.
