NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Alma C. Ellis, 66, who died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 were held Sunday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Hines officiating.

Surviving: husband, Roland Ellis of the home; daughters, Angie Rasberry of Elm City, Melissa Thomas of Raleigh; a son, Derick Ellis of Rocky Mount; brothers, Dorsey Cox and Milton Cox, both of Rocky Mount, Albert Cox of Nashville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Wake services were Saturday, Jan. 19, from 6 - 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
