Mary Isabelle Ferguson Fowler, 85, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013. She was born December 4, 1927 in Chatham County to the late Isaac Minter “Ike” and Labaron Josephine Ferguson. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, David Fowler, sister, Louise Fowler, a brother, Junior Fergerson.

She is survived by her children Anne Fowler Watkins (Joe) of Florence, SC and Ike Fowler (Leigh) of Nashville, two sisters, Nelle Decker of Binghamton, NY and Nancy Ferguson of Siler City, one brother, Tommy Ferguson of Siler City, five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church with Pastor Ralph A. Brown.
