Larry “Steve” Stephenson Driver, 57, of Spring Hope passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013.  Funeral services were held January 12, 2013 at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Interment followed in Bailey Town Cemetery.  The Rev. Daniel Parker officiated.

He is survived by his wife, Devon Walker Driver of the home; his daughter, Joy Driver of Spring Hope; his sons, Tyler Driver of Franklinton and Robbie Denton (Angie) of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; his step-daughter, Brittany Delbridge of Spring Hope; his step-sons, Bradley Walker of Spring Hope and James Strickland of Red Oak; his siblings, Roger Bernard Tant of Bailey, Denise Brantley (Phil) of Bailey, Gordon Driver (JoAnn) of Spring Hope, Lisa Whitley (Gary) of Middlesex; his in-laws, James and Josephine “Ma & Pa” LaMastus of Middlesex.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Gordon and Pearl Bissette Driver, his brother, Jasper Hubert Tant and his paternal grandmother, Inza “Mue” Driver.
