Sidney M. Coppedge, Jr., age 88 of Nashville passed away on January 8, 2013.

Funeral services were held on January 12, 2013 at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church in Nashville, with Rev. Wayne Hines, Officiating. Burial, Oakland Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McNeil Coppedge and children, Betty Carol Taylor and Howard Coppedge.

He is survived by his children, Sidney E. Coppedge, III (Joyce) of Nashville, Shelton Coppedge (Kathy) of Spring Hope, Robert S. Coppedge (Easter) of Durham and Lavern Gay of the Home; sister, Josephine Richardson of Nashville; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
