NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Margaret Alston West, 61, who died on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 were Sunday, Dec. 30 at 12 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Wilson Battle officiating.

Surviving: a daughter, Kathy Davis of Nashville; a son, Leon West Jr. of Richmond Va., mother, Almeta Alston of Rocky Mount; sisters, Clara Richardson of Nashville, Evelyn Knight, Annette Cooper, Angela Pittman and Natasha Alston, all of Rocky Mount; brothers, Leonard Alston Jr. of Nashville and Leroy Alston of Enfield; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Wake services were from 6 - 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
