Billie Sue Long Williams, age 82, passed away  Monday, December 24, 2012. Born in Guilford County on September 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Jule R. Long and Ruby Mae Cole Long. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, James Edward Williams and 2nd husband, Thomas Earl Williams. 

She leaves behind her daughter, Sharon Jones and husband Wayne; and one grandson,  all of Nashville; son, David Edward Williams and wife Reba of Rocky Mount; and sister, Julia L. Lemons and husband Clifton of Greensboro. 

A memorial service to remember Billie was held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Chet Rains officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice, P.O. Box 8109, Rocky Mount NC 27804.
