Miriam Cooper Mullen, age 80, passed away November 28, 2012 at Kindred Care of Rocky Mount. Miriam is preceded in death by her parents Astor and Lottie Cooper.

Miriam is survived by her husband Buddie Mullen of the home, two sons: Roger E and Ann West of Tacoma, WA and James Ray West of Rocky Mount, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren , two brothers Maurice Cooper of Nashville and Rudolph Cooper of SC, sister Lois Markle of Sykesville MD.

A funeral service was held Saturday December 1, 2012  in the Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations. The interment followed in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
