Benjamin Franklin “B.F.” Edwards, age 89 passed away on November 28, 2012.

B.F. is preceded in death by his father Ernest Joseph Edwards, mother Mary Mandy Edwards and brother Otis Edwards

B.F. is survived by his wife of 67 years Betty Lindsey Edwards of the home, sister Rachel Lucas of Rocky Mount and Odell Jefferys of Tarboro and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Saturday December 1, 2012   in the Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations with the Rev. Dick Singleton officiating. The interment  followed in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Barnes Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Rocky Mount.
