CASTALIA - Funeral services for Martha R. Silver, 78, who died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 were Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Linda Taybron officiating.

Surviving: daughters, Bettie J. Dale and Yvonne Jefferson, both of Castalia, Lula Richardson of Richmond, Va.; sons, William Silver and Johnny Evans, both of Louisburg, Howard Silver of Hollister, Robert Silver of Castalia, Michael Earl Silver of Nashville; sisters, Lola Silver of Louisburg, Ruth Mae Harrison of Castalia; brother, Claude Richardson of Warrenton; 23 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.

Wake services were Monday, Oct. 29, from 7 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
