NASHVILLE   - Rebecca Carol Hobson Carpenter, 63, passed away Tuesday October 23, 2012. She was born December 30, 1948 in Wilson County. Carol was the daughter of the late Avery Lee and Evelyn Raper Hobson. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Luther Martin Carpenter, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Scott Nathaniel Carpenter, two brothers, Stanley Hobson and his wife, Glenda and Johnny Hobson, three sisters, Argie Land, and husband, Johnny, Dale Parker and husband, Durward,  and Janice Joyner and husband, Ronnie; and two grandsons.

Visitation was Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2:30 until 4 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
