Billie Langley Holt, age 81, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012. A native of Rocky Mount, she was born on January 24, 1931, the daughter of the late J. H. Radford and Ima Allie Hamilton Radford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Langley; brothers, Johnnie and Charles Radford; sister, Doris R. Davis; a niece and a nephew and a great-grandson.

Survivors include her husband, Sonny Holt; daughters, Starr Pridgen Langley and husband Romey of Rocky Mount and Sherry Dawn Pridgen of Nashville; son, Rev. Mark Pridgen and wife Linda of Rocky Mount; three granddaughters, and five great-grandsons.

A Going Home service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Pridgen, Rev. Glenn Moore, and Rev. Clay Leonard officiating. The family will receive friends at 5:30pm Thursday evening prior to the service. Burial will be at 11:00am Friday morning at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
