STANHOPE –– Mary “Kay” Routte Dickinson, 64, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012.

She was born June 28, 1948 in San Diego, California, daughter of Gene and Blanche Routte.  Kay was preceded in death by her father, Gene Routte and her brother, Gary G. Routte.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William Carl Dickinson of the home; mother, Blanche Routte of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; sons, Steven C. Dickinson and wife, Tasha of Wellington, FL, Michael G. Dickinson and wife, Tammie of Spring Hope; two grandchildren,; sister in law, Emma Routte of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

The family received friends from 6-9:00 p.m. September 18, 2012 at the home, 4633 W. NC 97 in the Stan Hope Community of Spring Hope.
