ROCKY MOUNT - Miss Janell Renae Simmons, 7, of Rocky Mount, died on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

A funeral service was held on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Pittman Grove Baptist Church in Battleboro.  Rev. Ray Green officiated. The interment took place immediately following the Service in the Pittman Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Battleboro.
