ROCKY MOUNT - Kenneth Earl Duke, 60 passed away recently.

Mr. Duke was born September 10, 1946 in Nash County to the late Joseph William Duke and Viola Enroughty Duke.

Mr. Duke is survived by his daughter Brandy Kay Duke of Raleigh, son David Andrew Duke and wife Jan Puckett Duke of Rocky Mount. Two grandchildren; sisters Virginia Duke Moss of Rocky Mount, Shirley Duke Staton and husband Wiley Staton of Rocky Mount and Frances Duke Dunn and husband Freddie Dunn of Nashville as well as numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

The family received friends from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2007 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 1912 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Chet Raines officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
