HARTFORD, CT –– James Ervin “Stick” Sumler, 70, of Hartford, Connecticut, and formerly of Rocky Mount, died on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Hartford, CT.

Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at United Friendship of Christ in Rocky Mount. The interment took place immediately following the Service in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
