ROCKY MOUNT ––Sarah Beatrice Powell, 76, of Rocky Mount, died on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Light of Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.  Elder Herman Vaughn officiated.  The interment will take place immediately following the service in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
