Richard “Ricky” Earl proctor, 44, passed away Tuesday July 3, 2012. He was born October 23, 1967 in Nash County. 

He is survived by his mother, Janice Bennett Sutherland and father Joseph Emmett Proctor, brothers, Rev. Tommy Sutherland and wife Lori and family, Cliff Proctor and wife Judy and family, sister, Cindy Carter and husband Kevin and family.

A memorial service was held Thursday July 5, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Nashville Church of God.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Nashville Church of God Building Fund.
