Martha Duane Dickerson, 70, passed away Wednesday July 4, 2012. She was born June 10, 1942 in Talladega County, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Stokley Mae Gravette. 

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Best and Husband Greg, Kim Bennett and husband Danny; one sister, Barbara Rivenbark and husband Buddy; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  

A graveside service was held  Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
