Shawn Silver, age 40, of Spring Hope passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Spaulding Family Resource Center in Spring Hope. Burial was at Bethel AME Church Cemetery

Survivors include his wife, Amy Silver; daughter, Courtney Silver; mother, Mavis Silver; sisters, Stephanie Phillips (Ray) of Nashville, Sandra Alston (Leon) of Castalia and Robin High (John) of Nashville; brothers, Donell Silver (Nancy) of Louisburg, Anthoiny Silver (Cathy) of Nashville and Marvin Silver (Tracy) of Castalia; maternal grandmother, Lucille Richardson of Castalia; a host of other relatives and friends.
