Robert “Bobby” Talbott, age 76, passed away Monday June 4, 2012. Born in Nash County he was the son of the late Joe Daniel Talbott, carpenter and his mother the late Mary Sue Champion Talbott. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife Jean Talbott and his children, Bobbie Jo Newsome and husband Wayne of Wilson, Jennie Sessoms and husband Julius Lynwood of Tarboro, Jacqueline Mallory and husband James “Jay” of Rocky Mount, Pamela Mullen and husband Charles of Rocky Mount, and Debra Slavin and husband Bruce of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Claude Talbott of Baltimore, Maryland.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.

A service to remember Bobby will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with burial following the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
