NASHVILLE - William Henry Morris, 67, of Nashville, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007.

He was born November 17, 1939 in Rocky Mount, the son of the late Thurman and Gertrude Hardy Morris. Also preceding him in death was his former wife, Naomi Hall Morris; sister, Ann McLean.

Henry was a distinguished Highway Patrol Officer for over 30 years.

Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Sue McAllister Morris; step-son, Steward Goswick and his wife Melodie, and their children, Jacob and Rebecca.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 02, 2007 at the Nashville United Methodist Church, with Rev Wayne Hicks officiating, burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family received friends from 7:00 – 8:30 pm on Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
