James C. “Head” Parker, 77, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Tyrone P. Jones, III officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Richardson Funeral Home from 3 until 7 p.m.
