Lula Davis Cobb, age 91 passed away April 26, 2012. She was born April 15, 1921 in Nash County to the late William Barry and Maggie Jane Parker Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years T.C. Cobb, brothers Allen Davis and Buddy Davis, and sisters Hazel Mattox and Claudia Joyner.

Lula is survived by her children Susan Taylor (Ed) and Tim Cobb (Kim) all of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Edgemont Baptist Church, 1622 West Mount Drive, with the Rev. Thayer Stamper officiating. Burial followed Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the East Carolina Heart Institute, 526 Moye Blvd. Greenville, NC 27834.
