Rocky Mount  –– Ruth Vick Pridgen, 92, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2012. She was born August 31, 1919 in Nash County. Ruth was the daughter of the late David Clayton and Lena Bone Vick.

Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband Leon Vester Rose and a brother, Fred Vick.

Survivors include her husband, William Howard Pridgen, son, Leon Clayton Rose, and one grandchild, Leon Wadsworth Rose.

Funeral Service was held Saturday April 14, 2012 at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Mary Todd officiating. A committal service was Sunday April 15, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Bone Family Cemetery.
